NT11 Fast Full Flex is the fly rod of choice for anglers who want a rod that bends deeper into the blank while maintaining a stiffer tip, making spey casting easier and more controlled. Its unique flex and action create a rod that feels intuitive and easy to connect with, allowing you to slow down your casting tempo without losing precision. The recovery speed is impressive, and despite its deep flex, this is not a slow-action rod. These rods are designed to make spey and water-anchored casting a breeze, making them ideal for single-handed migratory fishing — including salmon, trout, and steelhead.

Design & technology

The single hand models shares the same high-end features as the rest of our NT11 Fast Full Flex double hand rods, with matte satin finish blanks and guides wrapped with burgundy thread. They feature flor grade cork handles and custom-designed reel seats with a hard-anodized, highly scratch-resistant semi-matte finish with copper trim details. The construction uses 40/46T carbon fiber combined with T1100 and C.A.P™ technology for strength and performance.

The NT11 Fast Full Flex single hand rods come in two different versions.

NT11 10′ #7 Fast Full Flex is a true all-round single hand fly rod for migratory fishing, covering everything from trout and steelhead to salmon in smaller rivers or low-water conditions. While it’s primarily designed for WF lines like the Bullet+ or Single Hand Scandi, pairing it with a ULS+ Multi Tip setup will definitely put a smile on your face. The rod is rated for line weights 16–19 g / 247–293 grains.

NT11 10′ #8 Fast Full Flex is the “big brother” of the series, offering extra power for targeting larger fish in smaller waters. Its stronger backbone makes it a top choice for anglers focused on salmon, big trout, and steelhead. Heavier lines also improve presentation when fishing larger flies. Try it with our WF Bullet+ or 3D+ Compact shooting heads for optimal performance. The rod is rated for line weights 18–21 g / 278–325 grains.

Technology

NT11 rods use an ultra-elastic 46T Low Resin Material which makes it possible to create feather-light blanks with a crisp feeling that greatly improves sensitivity. Layers of T1100 graphite with extremely high tensile- and compression strength are then added both on the inside and outside of the 46T material, creating an incredibly strong wall and foundation for unmatched performance, durability and reliability in the blanks.

Together with this, we use a carbon-scrim material with a proprietary CAP (Complex Axial Pattern) with 0, 45, 90 and -45 degrees, Cross Construction structure. This produces a lightning-fast recovery speed, increases the casting distance and improves the compression strength. High-strength TORAYCA NANOALLOY®-resin reinforced graphite improves the toughness and increases durability in the rods. Casting and fish-fighting cause countless amounts of flexing and unloading of the blank, the Nano-material prevents damage due to external shocks, internal stresses or fatigue. The material properties implemented into our NT11 blanks can be described with these simple words; Extreme durability, low weight and unmatched recovery speed.

Making a strong blank while making it extremely light is the ultimate goal of fishing rod development. But in a standard manufacturing process, a rod runs the risk of breaking too easily if it is light and with thin walls. It also often becomes too heavy if it is built to be strong enough. The properties and the performance in our NT11 rods are difficult to imitate by ordinary manufacturers as we use the best available materials together with the best available manufacturing- and reinforcement-technologies to achieve an ideal structure in the blanks.
