ULBC Tactical Jacket is the ultimate lightweight jacket with good movability and high breathability, ideal for hiking and fishing. By using tightly woven nylon fabric, we have been able to prevent mosquitoes and other stinging insects from getting through – completely without added chemicals! It also makes the jacket a fine choice in tropical or subtropical conditions where stinging insects are more the rule than the exception. With it´s light, airy layout it dries fast if it gets wet, and with the hood up you also keep mosquitoes away from your neck, head and ears. The jacket has UPF 50 which protects against the sun’s harmful rays. Important when you are outdoors in more southerly latitudes, but also in alpine terrain at higher altitudes.

DETAILS

The ULBC Tactical Jacket is made of a thin but very strong nylon fabric. The fabric withstands abrasion and wear without problem with pilling and the jacket is therefore a perfect garment for hiking under a heavy backpack and its shoulder straps. It is loosely cut with good movability so as not to be in the way during activity and to have room for a thin midlayer underneath. But the jacket still has a nice fit without unnecessary fabric, exactly what you expect from a modern outdoor garment. The hood is elisticated at the edge for a perfect fit that does not interfere when you move your head and closes tightly against mosquitoes and gnats.

The cuffs are elisticated to close tightly and protect the wrists, and the bottom hem is also elisticated to fit well around your lower back. On the front there are two pockets with vertical zippers that make it easy to access the contents. The size of the pockets is well sized and a medium-sized fly box can fit without problem. Here you will also find a horizontal webbing where you can hang smaller accessories or attach a pair of pliers. In the neck there is a D-ring where you can mount the net to have it easily accessible. The fabric of this product is bluesign® certified meaning it does not contain any harmful chemicals or substances and guarantees environmental friendly and socially responsible working conditions.
